From 1 January 2025, Frydenbø Industri takes an important step into the future. The company is changing its name to Frydenbø Forward and Frydenbø Yards as part of a strategic reorganization. We take our proud roots back from 1916 with us, but the name change reflects our focus on innovation and growth in the future.
New name – same commitment
Under the new names, Frydenbø Forward and Frydenbø Yards will continue to deliver the quality and expertise our customers have learned to trust. The names mark a clear direction: forward. Frydenbø Forward will be the umbrella for our strategic development and services, while Frydenbø Yards represents the operational core that builds on our long traditions and expertise.
Although the Frydenbø name has served us well for over a century, it no longer reflects the breadth and depth of what we do. Our services and solutions have developed significantly, and we want our identity to reflect this. It is not just a name change, but a confirmation of our focus: to create value for our customers and partners through innovative solutions, firmly rooted in our vision of delivering world-class quality and service.
Same people – same values
For our customers and partners, most things remain unchanged. You will still meet the same people who have been part of our success, and the Frydenbø logo will continue to be a symbol of our organization and a rallying point for our proud history and future. The changes are part of our strategy to clarify and strengthen our position as a leading player in maritime products and services.
A future built on tradition
