DEUTZ is a German engine manufacturer that was established as the world's first engine manufacturer in 1864. They develop and manufacture diesel engines for industrial/construction machinery, agricultural equipment, vehicles and the marine. DEUTZ industrial engines for construction machinery and stationary applications are supplied in outputs from 72kW to 520kW.

Frydenbø Industri are specialists in re-motorization

We have specialized in re-engineering assignments and we regularly replace main engines and generator sets on various vessels and installations. These include ferries, cargo vessels, trawlers, tugboats and well boats. We help with preliminary design, adaptations and proposed solutions, and we check whether existing equipment on board can be reused. We have short delivery times on new engines. We ensure quality assurance of the entire driveline before delivery to the customer (ISO9001 certified supplier). With our own workshop, we take start-up and service agreements, as well as overhauling engines and gearboxes. With one supplier of the entire powertrain, there's only one place to call when you need help. We take on rebuilding and special adaptation of electrical systems, instrument panels, etc.
